Breeding your Red Cherry Shrimp is almost as easy as putting a male and a female in a tank and letting them go! However, there are some ways you can induce breeding in your Red Cherry Shrimp! Basically a sexed pair of shrimp, stable water parameters, and a food source are some very simple ways of getting your shrimp to breed. Your Red Cherry Shrimp will find it a lot easier to breed with the water being at a stable temperature of around 72F (22C). Also, your pH level should be in the range of 6.5 to 8.0. When breeding, your Red Cherry Shrimp will need a consistent food source. Lastly, a very important part of encouraging breeding in your Red Cherry Shrimp is to have no predators in the tank!
